What were your personal highlights of 2018?

Raising $3,333 for charity: water was one of mine.

The money raised from 2018 is now at work in Mali to build clean wells for over 111 people.

Thank you to all that donated. I couldn't have done it without you and it means so much to me that we did it together!

Last year, I ran the SF marathon with this fundraiser in mind. It was an incredibly rewarding experience. Every step of training was filled with meaning. There was something bigger than myself that I was contributing to.

Although it was one of the most difficult things I've done (and painful! - think, SF hills on hills), it was also one of the most memorable.

I learned about the power of the mind and the body - especially when they are aligned with a mission close to the heart.

This year, I am holding another fundraiser for charity: water because I believe that everyone should have access to clean water. (& I'll be running another marathon, hosting parties & retreats to spread awareness!)

Water has the power to change everything. Giving water means giving health, education, time, equality, opportunity, hope, freedom, life.

You have the power to change everything.

No one should die because of water.

As charity: water founder Scott Harrison said, "we proved that pure giving - the kind that comes from deep within your heart, the kind where you expect nothing in return - can be a powerful and life-changing experience."

Many of us have no idea what it's like to be thirsty. We have plenty of water to drink -- even the water in our toilets is clean!

But many people around the world don’t have that luxury. Every day, about 1,400 children die from diseases caused by unsafe water and poor sanitation. But it doesn’t have to be that way. There are simple solutions like drilled wells, spring protections and BioSand filters that help provide clean water to communities around the world.

I started this fundraising campaign to help charity: water build these types of projects around the world, and I'm looking for anyone who can help me.

Please donate to my campaign -- anything you can give is a huge help.

100% of the money will be used to build clean water projects, and when they’re complete, charity: water will send us photos and GPS coordinates so we can see the exact community we helped.
